Your emotional wellbeing is an important aspect of your overall health. Therapy offers a space to create what we find to be healing—whether that means addressing a specific concern, building motivation for change, developing coping skills, uncovering broader behavior patterns that no longer serve you, or deepening self-awareness to cultivate a greater sense of wholeness and authenticity. Our work together can be brief or evolve into a longer-term partnership, tailored to your unique needs.
I joined the Wildwood family in 2016. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor. With over twenty years of experience, I have had the privilege of working with teens, adults, couples, and families facing a wide range of concerns. These include depression and anxiety, perinatal emotional wellness, trauma and complex trauma, grief and loss, relationship challenges, family stress, LGBTQ+ matters, women's issues, support for affected family members, substance use and recovery, as well as life transitions.
My approach is holistic and integrative, drawing from diverse theories and techniques to best support you. These include interpersonal and family systems theories, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness meditation, motivational enhancement, insight-oriented approaches, Exposure Response Prevention (ERP), Trauma-Informed Stabilization Treatment (TIST), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Neural Desensitization Integration Treatment (NDIT).
