Job Summary:
We are seeking a Family Medicine Physician to provide comprehensive urgent care services in a fast-paced clinical environment. The physician will diagnose and treat a broad range of acute illnesses and minor injuries, ensuring high-quality medical care for patients. This role requires clinical decision-making autonomy, with access to an on-call physician for consultative support as needed. The physician will also play a key role in coordinating patient care and maintaining high standards of practice within the clinic.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Deliver comprehensive urgent care services to patients of all ages, utilizing the full spectrum of family medicine skills.
• Perform clinical assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for acute conditions, minor injuries, infections, and other urgent care concerns.
• Provide preventive care and health education as needed.
• Manage and document patient encounters in accordance with coding compliance and quality assurance standards.
• Ensure compliance with risk management policies and adhere to the highest medical standards.
• Collaborate with other physicians, nurses, and medical staff to optimize patient care.
• Secure call coverage with other medical staff members for vacations and personal leave.
• Actively participate in clinical decision-making and problem-solving during urgent care hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support clinic operations and patient care needs.

Physical Requirements:
• Frequent standing, walking, and sitting throughout the workday.
• Frequent lifting/carrying of objects (0-25 lbs.), with occasional lifting of 25-50 lbs.
• Occasional patient lifting and movement.
• Frequent keyboard use/data entry for electronic medical records.
• Strong vision, depth perception, and hearing abilities to perform patient assessments effectively.
• Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, and twisting.
• Occasional driving between clinic locations.

Qualifications & Requirements:
• MD, DO, or equivalent medical degree required.
• Wisconsin Medical License (active or eligible before the start date).
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Family Medicine (ABFM or AOBFP).
• Successful completion of an accredited Family Medicine Residency Program.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong clinical skills in urgent care, acute care, and primary care settings.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent patient care.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to patient-centered care and collaborative team-based practice.
